Title: Selling stuff on this site.
Post by: Econo-box from Hell on November 04, 2006, 12:31:12 AM
Why is it that most of the "for sale" ads I see on this site don't have prices???????  C'mon people, put the %!#!%^ price on your stuff.  I love buying crap I don't need but if I don't know how much of the tens and tens of dollars in my fortune can spend, I'm just not interested.

That my friend is the nature of the beast.  I ask people to give me the courtisy of a phone call but that rarely works.  I try not to get too excited about it and I try never to change my plans because buyers are liers.

That happens where ever u post a ad, newspaper/autoswapper, websites... As Dave says, Nature of the beast, some people dont have the courtisy to call & screw up someones weekend, waitin for someone to stop over... Thank God For Cell Phones...i dont wait around on no one.. i tellum to call me when there in my driveway... or at least near it....

I vote for the deletion of no price ads as well. At least give us a ballpark. We'll let you know if it's too high. ;)

i have noticed alot of people post up ads and not give contact info, i think it really helps to sell your stuff.  because in this new digital and social networking age there are more ways to let other people know what you got that are not on the site.
