Big Daddy has been a good friend of mine for a long time, so when the site started, I jumped right in. No regrets here this site rocks!!!

wow i know i put one in here along time ago but anyway i used to bog wiht the psyco boggers and big daddy come out to one of our boggs to take picture so i used to go look at the pictures on the web and one sunday i decided to take the kids out in my newer truck and ended up goin 2 times like the people so i built another truck to play in and here we are GotMud? for life

I was at the Mounds on my Quad on a Sunday in late August. Saw a bunch of Got Mud stickers. Watched a few mud runs and some recoveries. Talked to some folks and was told about the web site. Looking forward to taking out the Jeep with what appears to be a cool group of people. ==roxx

I founded Mounds Pounders 7 yrs ago, we almost call ourselves the Genesee County Offroad Club,
& we renamed it after ctgray4x4 said he was gettin a Got Mud sticker made for his windshield, to the Got Mud Club of Genesee County...
Theres some history for ya.....
started out about 8 guys who liked to wheel together on sundays & Grown to a huge club.....

We had not been to the mounds in about 10 years. After building the Jeep, we decided to take a drive out there to see what it was like. Things have changed there a bit. We met a couple with a little guy. They were nuts ! Then we met a guy who had a 15 year old with a Jeep. He blew a bunch of his trans that day. He was heading to Lake MI to finish it off. His dad kept telling us more and more about Got Mud ? How it was family friendly. We talked about how keeping kids busy kept them safer. It is only natural with kids and mud. Then we met Jay, and his grandson. When my kids saw the 15 year old, then saw Playin Dirty go through that mud, it was all over. Playin Dirty, the 15 year old and Jays grandson all their super heros !!!!!! We came back the next week to sell a tow bar, and got stickers from BD. Now, all my kids ever talk about it Got Mud ? and beg to go out there all the time. What a great bunch of people there is here. Glad we asked, "What is this Got Mud ?"

Hmmmm....basically KosherNerd got his Tracker, wanted to see what it could do, so he was going through some construction by our houses, and he accidentally went into a farmers field and sunk down to the frame. Not to be deterred, he went and borrowed my Ranger to pull it out of....oh, of course he didn't have anybody else, so he just ripped that tracker out of the field with my truck without anybody driving it. But when he told me how well my truck performed, it got me thinking about taking it offroad legally somewhere...started poking around, found the mounds, happened to go out the first time on a Sunday, rode around with another tracker, realized we were wheeling with some Got Mudders, got on the website and have only missed one sunday since!

On a sidenote, I'm happy to report this is post #50....pretty sure that means I'm not a newbie anymore!

I just got a new quad in November 05 and the Mounds is the cloest place to ride, so me and a couple of buddies start riding out there and then we saw the stickers on the trucks and then I checked out the site and loved it! Got Mud? ==roxx So we will soon be building a truck ==dj

Hearing about it from Jim at www.Jeepin-Customizing.com -----but with the few times I have been to the Mounds on Sunday I am yet to meet "Big Daddy" ----does this person actually exist? ==shrug

By the way the way that everyone helps eachother at the Mounds truly Rocks! It is nice to see a group of people from all over with the same interest (wet dirt) helping eachother when someone needs it. I used to do a lot of wheeling in the 80's in the Shelby Twp area (illegal) and most of the time could not find anyone to help pull me out when I got stuck (frequently) ----I wished I had you guys back then! ==thanks

2.5 almost 3 years ago i went to the mounds with my s-10 blazer met bd mudman and jeff and marie all good people 1 week later got my first bogger from bd

Back in 2005 I was at Wolverine campground with my new Jeep. We were camped next to a guy with an older Jeep (I think his name is John, works at a Dodge dealer on Miller Rd.), he told me about the site, been hooked ever since.

I stumbled on We Got Mud by chance of ebay, back in sept of 06, I bought 2 used super swampers from some guy in Clio.

I cant remember his name, but he drove a yellow Jeep cherokee with swampers & boggers on it.

My husband "slymer" was always on GotMud? and he was always trying to get me to go with him to the mounds and other bogging trips.
With a titanium plate in my neck I'm a little wary of too much bouncing around in the samari, but this year I'm gonna give it a shot for slymer's sake. And I'm trying to put more effort into liking what he likes.

I use to work and wheel with Orangecrush, so when I decided to start building another truck I gave him a call for some help in finding some parts. He told me about GotMud?, been here ever since! Love it! When I sold my other truck 8 years ago it was hard for me to find regular places to bog, and most of my friends had sold their trucks. Its much easier now thanks to GotMud?

I think this is a great place to come and talk (type) about my favorite thing in the world and thats mud! You guys help me with the questions I have and ways its been done before. I love watching B.D.'s Mounds Movies every week, I do all of the camera work for our wheeling trips here and I know how much work it is. If I had an internet connection at my house I could figure out how to post them but I guess you'll have to wait. (wouldn't know him if I saw him again) there said that the WGM group goes to the Mounds every sunday and it took a full day of research to find the mounds but I

did and just saw stickers for the site and ditto- Here I am. (Orange 4x4 Colorado). Speaking of, my very first day I left on a "stretcher" (flat bed tow truck) after
