I was in a mistreated relationship for about 5 years before i meant Jason. I am so glad that i found him. I couldnt be happier. He showed me that there are good guys out there.....

The best thing is when a nice girl and a nice guy hook up! Stephanie and I knew each other for years before we got together. She had a huge thing for me all through high school, but she was a few years younger then me, but the main thing is that she was my little sisters friend. I always knew she wanted me, but just didnt want to be with my little sisters friend. When the day finally came that I wanted to ask her out, I found out that just hours earlier someone else already did and she said yes to him :(
Needless to say, I was a little hurt and kicked myself for not doing it sooner. I ended up moving to Maine for about six months, but it didn't work out so I moved back. I had a huge coming home party and she was there.... Her boyfriend showed up later also... He treated her like crap and acted like her father. Basically I told him to leave and that their relationship was over. Stephanie and I have been together for almost six years now ( since that night :) ), married for two, and have a 13 month old and a 2 month old.
Basically, I couldn't be happier!!!
Oh yeah.... did I mention she loves mud bogging and trail riding????? 8) AND, she can't wait for the kids to go out and get muddy with us!

Ive learned that just because you realize you love the one that?s always been there and who has always been a friend ,and told you that you didn?t deserve to be treated a certain way , and etc. ? doesn?t mean that they wont make the same mistakes as the other guys ..
i totally agree... i dated my best friend for almost 2 years and he made every mistake that we had ever talked about plus some
ya know... stereotypically guys are assholes.. generally speaking. and they always say the wrong things at the wrong times and they are the ones that "play" girls and blah blah. not true. us women can be the same way. we can be evil, caniving, backstabbing bit*hes. we make mistakes and we are only human... just like you men. ( well some i wonder about. lol jk ) I have made some big mistakes in my life and lost everything and everyone that i loved. I can't say that i regret anything because at one point in time it was what i wanted and everything DOES happen for a reason. im sorry... i have learned that those words dont mean anything. its the actions taken to prove it. but what hurts the most is when you are not givin that chance. the only thing you can do is hope and pray the god forgives you and give them the strength to do the same. change... something that is a given. an on going process.. it never ends. People change... some for the good and some not so great. I have learned to accept that as well. I have done a lot of growing up in these last few months and i have realized that it really is the small things in life that make the biggest impact on someone. even if it is something as simple as a smile. you never forget the smile of the one you love. there really are good guys out there. dont look past them or take them for granted. you might regret it one day. All and all i thank god everyday for what i have and did have. you never know where life is gonna take you but i am along for the ride.

okay...if ya know me well...then you know i call randy an a###hole ALL the time...but really...he's the best thing that EVER happened to me! we fight and bicker at eachother ALL the time, but he's my boo! If it wasnt for him...i would prolly be in the nut house! I was with a guy a yr befor him and it was HORRIBLE!(to the point he's in prison) My sister was also trying to get me to date again and kept introducing me to so many guys that were just too rude! one night, she put randy on phone and i was a biatch from hati! and here we are 4 yrs later! Still threatening to kill one another, but love eachother no matter what!

Well all i can say is being a good guy is simple all i know is being careing, honest, loyal, willing to help others without expecting something in return, falling asleep every night knowing i did the best i could have done!!

iv been lerking around here for awhile now and i had to post up on this subject. with no direct insult to the female gender. a woman is clueless when it come's to what they want. i also had this same problem, the woman found a guy that kicked the *%^& out of her, and said he's hot as hell though. iv seen this over and over. im 33 now and have seen some of these girls from my past. they look like hell rode the well past death and then beat them somemore. i no longer have remorse for a woman that says i wished i could find a good guy. i just tell them to shut up.... becouse they haven't a clue what they want. just my .02
