Title: Sucker punchers
Post by: Hammerlane on May 07, 2007, 04:53:39 PM
Any carp stabbers out there?

What type of outfit do you use?

boat or shoreline and shallows?

We have some monsters in the mill pond across the street from me and some dog fish too

Darton compound 45#'s
with string and wheel setup

12' flat bottom john boat W/ trollin motor
with the father in law we troll and ore our way around
when Im by myself I putt upstream and float my way back.

They'll be spawnin come the middle of June and the shallows boil with them.

I was in my boat (had a hurricane deck boat) and had been swimming...electrical storm came up fast...my hair was wet but the fine hair on my head was standing straight up! it also caused the electric start on my boat not to work...had to pull start my 75 horse Johnson and it was an older motor so it wasn't easy!) that was one of the weirdest moments!
