Title: need help deciding?

i just recieved a 1056 chevy pickup stepside 3/4 ton for graduation present. no motor or trans so i cand o whatever i want with it... i am debating whether or not to lift it and make dd and bogger on weekends or turn the truck into rat rod...

any ideas

Then I don't think I'd lift it. I think I'd put a nice HEALTHY motor in it and have fun with it  ==2cents

well i was also thinking of putin my suspension underneath it from my 85 pickup. then it would be sitin on 35s which i thiuk would look nice but still thinkin

if you  want a  1956  4x4.    i say do it.     not  many of them around any more.

theres no way in hell i would beat the hell out of that truck. those are getting very and i mean very hard to find in good shape. not to mention they go for a pretty penny with very little work done to them. if it was me i would build it to have fun with and cruise up down town with. them trucks are hard core head turners.

i agree with KORNBREAD on the hard to find truck thing, there are trucks all over the place for like $500 that you can beat the hell out of and not feel bad about it, but making a mud bogger would be fun too

I would lift it a bogg it.... put it on a newer 4x4 frame.... if ya make it a rat rod you take a better risk of getting a ticket! I quit driveing my camaro because of too many close calls with the law now I play off the the streets and can drive a stupid as I want!
