Well thanks to charter and there lovly system we are having our internet,pone,and cable shut off! ==pissed ==pissed. we have had charter for 2 years and we recently moved to our new house like 4 months ago and after we moved they somehow screwed up our bill and kept charging us for our new house and our old house. so after we recived a bill for almost $400 for 1 month service we had a problem. we contacted them over and over to get this fixed and finnaly they got it. well we thought. well now they want us to pay the $400 to get back to our normal monthly rate. theres no way in hell im paying all that money for there screw up. so i spoke to the high manager guy and after i showed him all the paper work i had proving that they screwed up and all my past bank statements proving we always paid in full and on time he agreed to wave there mistake and we were to be back at our normal monthly rate. well we went to our local charter office 2 weeks ago to pay it and the first words out of the tellers mouth was " OK SHANE YOUR TOTAL IS $264.00" so i grabed my credit card back and told them to shut my p00 off. so untill we find another service i wount be on :(. wich is funny cause my wife swears i cant breathe with out this web site. so she gives me a week before i die lol.

yeah same p00 happend with my cell phone, i turned it off, but they kept charging me, the bill got to like 600 dollars....and i was like WTF, called them, ended up paying it then they turn the ba$tard back on, and charge me again!!!!!!!!!

Comcast left my service active at my old place for 4 months and forwarded a bill to me for it but after about 45 min. on the phone with them, they realized their mistake and took care of it. good luck

no ranger dave thats the whole story. they made a mistake when we transfered our service to our new house and it was there screw up by not catching there mistake. not much else to it. but anyways ill have my internet back in 2 weeks so i dont have to keep using my friends computer lol.

i have never had a problem with charter...then again it helps to have a friend workin there...shane if ya want it back i can see if shell look into it for ya...
i'v had charter for over 10 yrs and never have had a propblem,
none of us are perfect. i had more trouble with nextel, direct tv,
people will tell you one thing and do another. i deal with it every day.
thanks for the heads up up ghetto but i got everything fixed. im so glad to be back on!!
