Title: crank polishing

i m looking for  quick answer if i shd buy this motor ? for my project... this is a 94 tbi 350 motor ... a guy said need bearings so i m think i ll have to polish the crank and get the right bearings so how much  machine shop usually charge for polishing the crank?  guy said about 100k miles on it

there  more to it than  just  polish the  crank,     you  need the  rods  looked at.      cylenders  at  least  crosshatched.   

richerts will  clean  up a  crank and rods   for around  200  dollars.

take the  rods and  crank in at the  same time .     get the  cylender  wall   cross hatched  and the   cam bearing  look at  you should be  fine.

ok i ll keep this in mind... just another  question is  $200 a  good deal for a complete tbi motor with the problem i mention up above?

if your  happy with it. don't worrie about  anyone else

if it needs  bearing , it will need  all the rest  of the  rebuild to.    i'd  olney  give  $100  if  it  need s rebuilt.
