how do you fit chevy full size axles under a 81 cj7,  from out side of leaf to leaf jeep is 28", full size is 34", the leaf brackets are already on the out side of frame, please help thanks  GotMud?

there's a couple ways you can do it the easiest it to move the sping pads on the axles but that would mean your front axle would be offset since you can't move the pad that's machined into the pig.

The best way would be to move the spring pads on the rear and on the front you would need to build new mounts on the frame and move the spings out to match the pads that are on the axle.

you could  the spring pad where its at and shorten the inside ofthe long axle tube and have the shaft cut down and resplined
