Title: thinking about lowering my truck

i have 5" lift blocks in the front and back and i think im gunna buy the tuff country 3" lift with front springs and rear blocks for $400 im also gunna need to get rid of the 38.5" tires and go smaller  tires anyone have some decent set for a decent price about 35" or 36"

There is no good reason to lower a truck......... unless it involves ur pinion angles bein way out....

the springs are pretty much flat in the front and i dont like it

then get rid of the blocks and springs and buy a 8 in lift all spring lift

well, they are a little dry  rotted but all hold air and havent leaked since i put the tires on 3 months ago the ground hawg is brand new

dude if you wanna buy that lift do it. its your truck. i wouldnt run front blocks. people do have good luck with theres sometimes, but running front blocks are bad to do!

front blocks are illegal on the street, and even on an offroad only truck i wouldnt run them.  you can prob flip the shackel in the back to get ~4" of lift. take a look in this thread for some reference- http://wegotmud.com/forum/index.php?topic=30008.0

yea lower it just to piss all these people off i would! beside trucks look gay when they are super tall...i think they do that to make themselves feel big when in reality they arnt.........

well guys i solved all of my problems.
i traded the stepside for a 86 longbed 350 vortec crate motor carbeaurated with a 3 speed muncey tranny 208 t-case 14 bolt rear throlley stainless headers v force duals 4" suspension lift (WITHOUT FRONT BLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) it has 33" coopers but im buyin some 35 in mud kings monday and once i can afford it after high school im jackin up to a 12" lift with 44s
