If its a Copper rad. then yeah soddering it is ur best bet, i've done it several times to mine, all u have to do is find were the leaking core goes into the tank, take a small propane torch and heat it up right were it goes into the tank, when it heats up it should pull out with some needle nose pliers, then do the same on the other end... once u have the core out of both tanks, if u can wire brush the holes, then just fill them with sodder... hope it helps

i've had good luck with pinching off a tube if its an aluminum rad. depends on how many core there is, and which one is leaking

ive had good luck with stuff called seal all

Thats kinda a half assed way to do it tho, that stuff gets all in ur cooling jacket, and clogs stuff up, soddering the one core thats leaking is the way to go

regular course ground pepper or they sell these little container of aluminun dust and you can pour that in unless the hole is to big acid wash and soder the area

find the leaky core or leaky row, and take some needle nose plyers and pinch it shut on both sides of the leak
