tsc sells a real cheap enamel paint called truck and trailer ..has anyone ever painted there rig with it..does it look good?
i think a few people on here have. its pretty good paint by what i've seen it should last a few years. i think any paint will look good as long as you take your time and do a good job.
yea i expaec to do it right the first time so everything is gettin sanded very well and primer about 3 coats thick and then wetsand and final paint enamel mixed with hardner ......im thinkin yellow for my big truck with black frame
get the tractor impliment paint.... and actually spray it with a good gun!
done with proper prep work...

done with just scuffing and painting... vs sanding down and priming.

Gettin ready to rebuild the bogger.. gonna give the 5 yr old and mom a brush, roller and a gallon of paint.. if it ain't glass or rubber ;D ==np
haha good idea ..if only i had someone to do it haha
Used a roller and some foam brushes. Doesn't look too bad with minimal prep work. It always ends up looking the same at the end of the day anyhow.
that 2nd gen s10 looks real nice Eroq, nice work ==kp
we painted a jeep with it, turned out pretty good other than the red turned out orange, but thats prolly our mixing skills that did that.
$30.00 sand paper, tape, paint, thinner.

i did not do any body work. as you can see ;D
i used the tractor implement for a piece of equipment(tractor) and for my last truck i had. they turned out decent. from far away they looked good. lol it was rattle can special at tsc. i now have two guns and only sprayed 1 vehicle. it turned out ok, but take ur time. lol
like every one else my buddy and i painted a lift hatch on a 94 explorer and got the hardener wrong so it spider cracked so idk juss take your time and do it right but it is very good paint thats all my dad uses and hes painted alot of semis with them they always turn out with as much work and time you put in them and it shows...
yeap started paintin today...good stuff all i got to today is painted the frame and putting the cab back on ....tommarow fenders and whole body primed..found out it sprays alot better at around 60 psi even tho i thinned it down a bit ..pics on my photobucket http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff326/rebuilder2008/77chevy%20stpsd/

I'VE DONE THAT! PINK AND BLACK. BLACK SPRAY ON TOP AND TITTY PINK UNDER THE BODY LINE ON MY 78 COULDNT TAKE IT TO ANY KIND OF POWER WASH, THE PINK WOULD HAVE BEEN BLOWN OFF loll
Try "Steve's Automotive" in Oxford. It will obviously cost you more, but like most things in life that do - are usually worth it. If you didn't care what it looked like, you wouldn't be asking. The reason why I recommended Steve's - they walked me through the entire process. When I was done, I impressed the hell out of myself and within 3 days it was covered in mud and you couldn't tell what freakin' color it was anyway. So, ask yourself... does it really matter?
