i got a question i have a 95 monte carlo and its leaking ps fluild wht could i use tht is is thicker until i have the money to get the leak fixt?

go to bone yard & get what u need to fix it, you dont wanna put nothin in the pwr steering but the proper fluid, you will ruin the rack & pinion steering, == cost u more, JMO

thats what i thought some one told me to use gear lube buti knew tht wouldnt work

Lucas Oil makes a power steering additive that is supposed to seal up most minor leaks.   It's a band-aid so make sure you replace the pump as soon as you can.

Ive used the lucas, it depends on how severe the leak is. you could try it , like econo said its a bandaid, go to bone yard and find ya one.

yeah tryied the luscas it drained out in like 1 min lol but i got it fixt up now cost me 180 but worth it
