Post by: Hammerlane on October 09, 2008, 04:23:02 PM

If it's a locker you wont need anything. Limited slips need an additive for the clutches.

So is there a true trac limited slip an a true trac locker. Do you have to take it apart to tell what one you have. I was told I had a locker but just want to know which one I got for sure.

pull the cover and take a look. by the looks of that one, it has no spiders, so if you have spiders, its prob a clutch type LS

the tru-trac is a helical cut gear limited slip it is a mechanical limited slip which has no cones or clutches to wear out
