Have a D30 with a truetrac locker in it (front)
have it all put back together, need to add 90w
someone said there is an additive needed for the locker..
yes.. no.. maybe.. what would that additive be if needed? ???
If it's a locker you wont need anything. Limited slips need an additive for the clutches.
not sure, was told it was a locker
are'nt truetracs clutch type lockers??
mine didnt have clutches that I remember but it blew into about 1000 pieces
i would contact eaton, which owns detroit locker
i believe this is the# 1-800-328-3850

No clutches
no additive needed
Cool, thanks all
So is there a true trac limited slip an a true trac locker. Do you have to take it apart to tell what one you have. I was told I had a locker but just want to know which one I got for sure.

pull the cover and take a look. by the looks of that one, it has no spiders, so if you have spiders, its prob a clutch type LS
Its solid all the way around Can not see anything. So I pobably have to take it apart to find out.
the tru-trac is a helical cut gear limited slip it is a mechanical limited slip which has no cones or clutches to wear out
