i got a double roller timming chain. the top pully has the dot on it for timming but the bottom one dont. and there is no dot anywhere on the bottom one.. anyone got any ideas??? pics or specs would be helpful too
yes it has 3 keys
bump GOT MUD?
well wouldnt you set it on the middle key that would be zero and not advanced or retarted like the other 2 keyways. right?
the bottom gear keyway is usually the lined up with the dot
3 keyways.......................
keyway marked with Triangle and tooth with triangle should be 4 deg. advanced
keyway marked with square and tooth with square should be 4 deg. retarded
keyway marked with circle and tooth marked with circle is stock timing or 0 deg.
There should be marks on all keyways and by 3 of the teeth if no marks on either side take it back.

if it is cheap enough to not have the keyways labeled, i wouldn't trust it on my motor!!!!you can get a brand new double roller for like $30 spend the $$$ if you can
