i wheel mine thru winter but i m gonna rebuilt few things on samurai but  gonna do it one at a time so i can still wheel  during the winter my list is pretty simple   change my axle gear to 5.29 and change my motor and move my front axle few inches forward so it could stop fender rub and make a new fender flare out of diamond plate

the mud bogging season never ends.  it just switchs from mud bogging to snow bogging and occasion  frozen water hole bogging  lol.  i duno about you guys  but winter time is one of my favorite times to head out with the truck.  we usually head up to 61 and go trail riding in the middle of the night.  we usually try to stay away from the froze over water holes  but sometimes  we have to cross but we dont always break thru.

anyone else head up there in the winter?

i could be wrong  but dont you  orangecrush head up there with my brother in law and sister (tracie and adam hayes) and everone else that goes with them. just with a diff truck other then your orange one?  i thought they said you go with them sometimes  but i may have gotten you mixed up with someone else.

Yeah we love to wheel in the winter too, its just hard to go mud booging in 10 degree weather since everything is froze over, yeah I do go wheelin with Chris,Adam, and whoever may show up during this time of no mud, The Orange Truck is a summer toy.  yes 61 is a kool place in summer and winter, I was just questioning those with plans on there boggers over the winter months.

oh yea i understand  what you were getting at.   ill be up there forsure this winter now that i can beat on something up there other then my daily driver.  so  we will have to get together with them and head up there.  i went alot with chris, adam, and tracie last year  but  i dont remember you going.  then again i never met you and there were a few times i didnt go with them  so maybe its possible you went then.

I need to replace the motor on my 5 ton. I have a 6bt with a 727/205 combo. a locker for the front and I have a 20k pto winch that needs mounting and hooked up to the 205. after that are some chains and a cab heater. I want to snow bog it and take it on one of those winter trail rides. Hopefully I will have enough dough to get a cover for the back and throw a heater in there too.

I won't even list all the other stuff that needs fixing.
