people dont belive that 4.3's shift at 8 grand even if u leave the shifter in first... i made a few believers that day haha. Thing never would die... prolly ran it 50 in first atleast 6 times. Wanted to put a 350 in it but i wanted to blow the 4.3 up first.

I'd never even rode in a 4wd until then. We were up in Harrison at my cousins cabin, went to the gravel pit and was climbing the hills, he asked me If I wanted to drive and that was all It took. One trip up a hill in Low Loc and I was hooked..........................Another story..................Back in 1994 I had my own 79' Blazer with 7" of lift 35" wild tracs and a 402, I thought it was a pretty tough truck.......................Then I started at Thomson Ball & Screw in Bay City......This guy that worked ther started asking me about my blazer and asked If I wheeled alot, I said Oh yea, never been stuck yet, he laughed and said maybe you should come wheeling with me..............................You all know him as .....................................Orangecrush....
