IFS? or straight axle?
looks like a sraight axle, has the unit bearings on it
straight axle
If I remember right remove the frt wheel bearings remove both frt axle shafts, they will just pull out. Remove diff cover and differential, drive both seals out and reinstall. Need a long seal driver as the need to be driven from the opposing side into the frt axle case. Sometimes you will need to "spread" case to remove diff, only used it once had to borrow from a friend at the dodge dealer. Hope that helps. Might as well do both seals and u joints as you are going that far at least do both seals they are cheap and kinda a pain in the @$$!
i did both sides on my 95 ram and it wasnt hard at all prolly take ya a few hours. if your gunna do one you might as well do the other as well. it makes it easier and you know soon or later the other ones gunna go. just my .02
thanks i will we are going to redew the hole front end if i have to tear it down that far
