I drive my samurai on the street but not daily. It is usually put up for the winter. I do some light wheeling here and there, but if I take it somewhere more than 20 miles from home or more it is trailered.

I used to wheel alot of my DD's but my fav was my 86 3/4 ton GMC.  It was completely restored and drove like a brand new truck!  I had a blast with it at Silver lake, Mio's Bull Gap, and even took it through a few mud holes at the mounds when the bogger was not ready to go.  This truck never was put on a trailer, towed many, was drove everyday, and when I had the itch I beat on it like a $100. beater.  It never broke or left me stranded.  I dont know whey I ever sold it? and I sure do miss it.  Here is a pic for old times sake!

ehh.. my dd gets the hell beat out of it, trails mud, pavement... but thats why i got a s10.. parts everywhere.. besides all that ever goes in them is ball joints c/v axles and u joints.  If i ever have a secondary beater then i wont run the dd no more.  one things for sure, my dd's gnna be a beater... i cant drive shiny stuff.

always ran my dd   but n ot beat the death out of it   my dd  all had 33" or 35" tires  so they were as big as many  of the wheelers          not scared to be out there  always had more than 1 dd  tho
