i got a 96 chevy 1/2 ton ex cab 4x4 what is the cheapest way to clear 315 16s thanks
6 inch lift i would say i dont think 3 inch body lift would clear that but i may be wrong i had 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body and i cleared 37x12.5
any other ideas
3 inch body lift, 2-3 inch blocks in the back, and ford keys or crank your t-bars and you can clear 315's.
I had a '96 with 305/16's and 3" body lift with no issues, mine was a DD though, if it was a DD I would do body lift and crank the bars a little, if your gonna wheel it I would go with a little more lift . just my ==2cents
where is the best ,cheapest place to get a body lift
summit racing or 4 wheel parts
I got mine from summit, I think it was Performance Accessories, very nice kits.

ive heared performance accessories are the "most complete" kits
i looked at them on summit and all the guys said everything was there but the instructions were crap
it is the kit for 180 is that a good price
buddy runs 35's on his 94 with a 3" body but rubs sometimes in the front...better bet is to go with at least a 4" lift and 3" body to be safe and save your tires... btw i have mudducks old truck if ya wanted to come look at what a 6"sus and 3" body looks like with 35's im not too far from ya
I got a 4" lift and 33s on my 94 z71 and if it bounces had it will hit the fenders... but I also had 33s on my stock 99 z71 and they never hit!
The kit I got from summit was around that price and it had excellent instructions, Performance Accessories brand, not Summit brand.
