Title: Add-A-Leafs
Post by: TBigLug on January 16, 2009, 11:45:04 PM
Does anybody use them? Reccomend them?

I can get a set for my '85 for ~$60 for the rear and $70 for the front new. I'll be doing a little towing with it when I'm done so the stiffer spring rate doesn't bother me.

I don't think I'll mind the stiff ride too bad. Did they help when you were pulling trailers? I'd like to use it to pull my stock trailer and draft horses when I'm not playing.

I've used them in the past on an F-350, front and rear.  Rear is fine, helps with payload and towing and ride isn't all that bad.  Though, I will never do a front add-a-leaf again.  Ride was way too stiff.

I thought about that. But, problem is finding a set of 6" springs for $100.
