Title: lift and body lift

i have a suspension lift on my truck the guy i bouht it from said it had a 4-6 in but wasnt foresure the guy he bought it from said 8in how can i tell,  also anyone have problems  taking out cab bolts when trying to take them out (any suggestions)   GotMud? chevv

Measure the distance between the bump stops and the top of the axle. A normal truck will have about 1-3 inches of gap between the axle and the stop.

I have the same problem with my truck. The guy I got it from said it's a 6 inch lift, but it seems more like about about tallish 4 inch lift. Unless the springs have sagged a bit?
