This is very sad...
thanks Rizzle for posting it...
This was not here in Michigan rather Washington State but still very sad to read about, sitting close is cool but dangerous in this case.

The wife read about this on Sunday morning.......
right after Monster Jam Saturday night
That is so sad..
I hate hearing about kids being hurt in any way. Makes me sick.
I hope the parents file a lawsuit. I've seen monster truck tires fly off & into the grand stands......those shows arent as safe as they should be!
to bad it wasn't a tire from my people that I talk to they said it was some parts of the driveshaft loop that come out from underneath
very sad, but remember all motor sports have a degree of risk. there is a reson they call it an accident. some thing like this could happen at the boggs we go to.
x2 TROUT LOOK WHAT WE ARE DOING PUSHING EVERYTHING TO LIMITS prayy NOTHING EVER HAPPENS LIKE THAT AT BOGS BUT JUST NEVER KNOW

Careful what you wish for.. we fall into this catagory of responsibility too!!
this was a horrible accident, I dought the driver of the truck realized what happened when it happened, there is danger in every aspect of life, things happen, I think these shows are as safe as they can be given what it is, these are highly modified trucks built to entertain a croud and as with anyother entertainment there are accidents, people need to realize when they attend these events, or any other event danger exists, there was a story not too long ago where a young girl got hit in the head with a hockey puck at a pro hockey game, she died, nobody thinks somthing like this could happen to them but you never know, and a lawsuit isn't gonna bring em back, I seen a great guy get killed at a mudbog, it can happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone.
i heard it was a piece of something internal in the rear axle of grave digger that hit the kid.. whatever it was its still sucks, just for that theres going to be people who are going to want to outlaw monster trucks... i hope that kid RIP

people are so quick to say lawsuite....
I dont get it... p00 happens and it would suck if it happened to me but I wouldnt ever want to see the show stop.... pretty soon no one will be able to attend anything in person and evey one will have to purchase a paper view show just so no one can get hurt from a blown tire, engine, rear end, puck, baseball, ect....
shame on people for even saying lawsuite
i agree why sue its not gonna bring him back they chose to go to the show. be like one of sueing cause a strap broke hurt some body we chose t obe there we take that risk lawsuits are why we have to fight for places to play
