Title: mid motor plate-adapter plate
Post by: blazentrout on January 21, 2009, 05:59:44 AM
I am starting to plan out my motor/trans/hi-low box mounts. i am going to be running a cad 500, chevy turbo350. i allready made the motor mounts.what i am debating is do i just run an adapter plate for the trans or should i make it a motor plate? i thought if i went with a motor plate it would help stiffen up the chassi.i will be making this my self and i am not sure if i want to use 1/8, 3/16 or 1/4 steel for this( i will have to buy a piece). i plan on rubber mounts for the motor and trans. what do you people think, sugestions, design ideas. help a guy out

SPACES YOU FLYWHEEL BACK TO THE CONVERTER OR WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR CONVERTER THEY CAN BUILD IT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE SPACER
