First off i am sorry if i posted this in the wrong section,i just wasnt sure where to post it.Anyways the tierod end on my rough country trackbar on my 95 grand cherokee is bad.I was wondering if i should get a new tie rod like it has now or put in a heim joint and bolt it onto the backet with a grade 8 bolt.Which is a better setup?
I had a BDS adj. track bar with tie rod end on my 95 grand, Tie rod joint went in one year.
Wen't back where I bought it [mumblys off road] they said there was a recall on that bar and gave me a new one.
new one has heim joint, drives like a brand new truck.
check where you bought it.
And yes go with heim joint.
I got it used online.I will go c if i can find a replacement heim one for it then.
i moved to garage/tech section ;)
