Title: BBC main bearing question...

Helpin a buddy...

his BBC crank had to be ground to .060" to be cleaned... i've looked on summit, jegs, and northern autoparts and noone seems to carry .060 for mains...

you would have to call around. there not going to have them online due to low sales on them. might have to special order them. i dont think many people turn them that far. just an idea.

the machinist said they usually good to bout .100"

but, took him to .060" to get the mains to clean up.. rods are at .020"

You should be able to get these at any auto parts store that doesn't have a chick behind the counter with Burger King experience on her resume.

==roll oh no, this is a reputable parts store.

recently got bought by auto value few years ago, but they still got a ton of parts any of the big chains cant get
