Just seen on the news that it has been demolished
Sheila & I seen the band Kansas there in the late 80s early 90s Twice :)
we had tickets for 1st show & then we ate dinner & watched second show free yeahh
it was a great peice of local history, it was built in the 30s ,
Over 60 years, it swung to the sounds of Tommy Dorsey and Guy Lombardo and rocked to the likes of Grand Funk Railroad and Foghat.
alot of cool bands have been thru there, they had hundreds of pictures on the walls there,
we used to eat there alot in the 80s/90s ,we hung out at richfield park & it was a close place to get a awesome meal....
another piece of history gone.....
thats sucks but it was gettin real bad from jus sittin there empty but got to make room for the new maybe they put in something cool there
I saw the last big name show they had there Blue Oyster Cult seen quite a few shows there wish they coulda made a go of it the last time they reopened was a good jam shack for sure
