I'm going to have to replace the steering arm on the Dana 44 I picked up for the camo truck. How do you guys get those conical washers out? Last time I did it (2003) I ended up torching it and destroying my stock steering arm. I want to avoid doing it with this one. I can either pull the arm off the 10 bolt that's on it now or pick up a new arm or block. Either way I have to get the old one out. FWIW, I don't have access to any air tools.
Candle wax.
pour melted candle wax on the bolts....
somehow it must get in there, harden up and loosen it all up ??? never done it but ive heard him say it works a few times!

Right on...Works like a charm.
100% Bee wax works very well also.
