next year when i graduate im thinking about going to hobart institute of welding technology which is supposed to be top notch and then lookin for a decent payin job
is it worth it or is it a waste of time and money
half the people i talk to say with this economy getting a job would be hard and others say out west u can get welding jobs all day
what do you guys think?
go to a trade school first
get damn good at welding..
then go to the hobart school...
get ALL of your certifications and youll have no problem finding a job out west...
but be ready to work your mooner off!

if your willing to commute, or find a place near ann arbor/ypsilanti... Washtenaw community college has one of the
BEST welding programs in the nation
www.wccnet.edu
http://www4.wccnet.edu/flashvideos/index.php?video=welding
i've had numerious teachers there (shown in the video) they are all very good at what they do, if you have a problem doing something, they wont just tell you how to do it, theyll come run the weld for ya, and show you EXACTLY how to do it.
==np
get i-car cetirfied alot of jobs take that and you wouldn't have to go to school but you need to learn how to weld good first i'm going to when i get some money
think of this trade school is about four years long and by the time you get out the economy should be booming, if you look at the past resessions and how long they last, and people should be heiring and that job pays great
