Title: sped sensor in 95 chevy 1500
Post by: sorcerer86 on March 23, 2009, 01:45:27 PM
ok, i have my 95 1500 4x4 w/ the 4l60-e and when i lifted it i had to change the t-case from the stock 241 to an older 241 off i'm gonna say 90-92 or so 700r4. i did this because i needed the flange style front output from the older one. but now i run into the problem of the speed sensor not being the same as the one from my stock 241. is there anyway i can make it work so that my truck shifts properly and stuff?

thanks, Mark

If you still have the other tcase then just tear them both apart and either put the front output you need in the original tcase or put your original rear output and housing on the older tcase ==2cents

thenks, i didn't want to have to do that. i was hopeing for a quicker/easier way, but i'm thinking that swaping the output shaft is gonna be the only way also.

thanks for the reply, Mark
