Depends., need more info, year, motor, miles, more specs.
I think it looks clean. you can always drop your price but its hard to go up.

Mmmmm Honestly yes you are asking too much.  KBB says Good condition 100,000 estimated miles $3,450 and thats with premium wheels, over size tires, silverado package, PW,PL, tilt, cruise ect ect.

Not to mention people are scared of these big old beast because this $2 a gallon is not going to last so that knocks the price down even farther.

I have the exact same truck except mine is an 1988 and it's a 3/4 ton with towing package and locking diff and I only paid $1400 for it.

Granted you have a lift kit and some bad ass tires but the fact is suburbans are as big as a house but they are not like property as far as an investment goes. You will never get out of it what you have into it.

You want honest (Remind you I own a Burban) if I was looking to buy that rig I would only pay about $2700 tops.

Another thing is those big tires probably are hurting your sale because you (How should I say this) People looking for something like that are usually a big family that needs a 3rd seat SUV to tow a camper, boat ect ect. with those big tires people are not looking at it as a tow vehicle and you pushed those type of customers out of the market for buying your large SUV.

Your truck looks sweet though and I plan on doing basically the same thing to mine. I already have about $2500 into mine with some repair's, upgrades ect ect and after a lift kit and new tires ect ect I will probably end up having another $2000 into by the time I am done. Does that mean it will be worth $4500? Absolutely not...I will never get out of it what I have invested into it.

You wanted Honest opinions, thats my Honest opinion. If you find someone like myself that has a million kids who like to go wheeling and they are looking at it as a weekend toy it might be worth more money to them. Perhaps $3000 to $3500. But the majority of wheelers rigs are either small suv's Cherokee's, Explorers, S10's or big ass pickup trucks. It is a rare site to see a big bad Suburban wheelin with the wife and 5 kids in the back. I am one of those people who you will see though.

Another thing is I just bought my wife a 2000 Olds Bravada, 96,000 miles. Every option heated seats, mirrors. Tow package. If you sneeze a little arm comes out of the dash and wipes your nose and says god bless you in three different languages. One owner, all maintenance records and the thing is in perfect condition. I bought that for $3500...I would trade two of my Suburbans and some cash for another one exactly like it!

Disturban's right on the money. I too am a former Suburbanite so I think your truck is kick butt but the simple fact is, 99.9% of people have no use for one of these anymore. I personally don't think it's the height and tires that keep it from being a hauler, I think it's the act it's a half ton. If it has the 12 bolt it would make a decent hauler but if it's sportin' a 10 it's not worth putting a trailer behind it. If this was a 3/4 ton with a 14 bolt set up the same way it would have already sold for $3,500 - $4,000 (hell JC would have probably bought it). I think you're going to be better off just keeping it and enjoying it yourself. Market being what it is I don't think it'll ever sell at $4,500. Maybe, if you swapped in a 14 bolt FF rear and a 3/4 ton front you could get some extra for it? ???

ya the selling market sucks big time right now man. i'm also a huge fan and pre- owner of a few burbans myself!  that's a bad ass truck ya got there a lot of people would love to have! fact is no one wants to even think of spending $4000.00 of anything. that's a lot of money. i just took it hard in the (you know what) i just sold my 95 dodge caravan that had 52k origanal miles, brand new tires, didnt leak, smoke, knock,or anything! best i got was $2000.  this selling market sucks man. if i was you i would keep it and enjoy it man.

Mine is all power, has never had a panel off, silverado package, captains chairs, rear air works as does everything else, brand new kenwood cd with remote and 4 new speakers, 3/4ton, new tires, trailer brakes, new 3" exhaust, new ball joints, u-joints, plugs, cap rotor, wires, battery, alternator, k&n filter. The interior is perfect except a few small spots on the front seats. It runs like a champ. 350,TH400 tranny with huge cooler, 14bolt rear end.

It is what it is...if I was to sell it I would probably be lucky to get $2000.

The only difference between mine and yours is your paint job is nicer and it is one year newer. But I have a 3/4 ton setup for towing and that would be more desirable to a lot of people than a nice paint job because if we put them side by side forsale 99% maybe even 100% of the people interested in buying our rigs would be men. Women want small SUV's, mall wheelers, jeeps, minivans anything but our big old tanks.

You have a small nitch in the market that would be interested in yours, like I said maybe a big family that would want it for weekend wheelin. But even then they might want something without such a nice paint job so they dont have to worry about scratching it.

You wanted the truth I gave you the truth...sometimes the truth hurts. Never the less your truck is real sweet and I love it but I think you will be hard pressed to get anything over $3000.

I would just keep it if I was you and enjoy it. I know what you got and you know what you got so wheel it, drive it in the winter, use it to pull people out when they get stuck ect ect.

These things are a beast in the winter! Some lady was stuck in a parking lot this winter with her Z71 pickup after that bad storm and mine walked right through it, hooked up the strap and dragged her all the way to the street. To me that is PRICELESS!!!

When there is 2ft of snow in my long ass driveway and the plow made a mound at the end of it and I jump in my tank and walk through all that crap and be on my way without having to shovel any snow that is also priceless.

When all my kids want to go fishing the day after it rains at our local fishing spot and there are 20 cars parked on the road and I just drive down the hill and through all the mud right up to the river bank and see 20 other guys with mud caked all over their shoes and My kids and me get out with nice clean shoes and pants...again priceless.

I was going to trade mine for a pretty nice S10 but my wife wanted me to keep it just for all the reasons stated above.

Like I said keep it and enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine...as soon as you sell it you will miss the old girl!

Nice burban!.........if that body is rust free, and clean underneath, and has a good paint job,  I bet you could get 3500.00 for it.

If in doubt.......check ebay for 1990 burbans........that would give you an idea what it would get at auction.

nice lookin burban. i agree with most of the guys on here.. with the market being what it is, im lucky to get 4k for my 2000 f150, let alone an older truck. not saying your truck isnt great, because it looks awesome, but right now, people dont really have $4500 to spend on a truck from the 80s. if i were you, id keep it and run the wheels off of it, or trade it for something you want, that way you dont take a loss. try trade +cash? idk. nice lookin truck though!
