If anyone knows the (blue Blazer), GOT SAND? ask him if he happened to grab my snatch strap and 2 clevises. or knows if it got put back in my van.
Being in a wheelchair I was not able to get out and unhook. Van got left at the Ridge Rd. bog until Monday and thats when I discovered it was gone. A thief would have stolen my receiver out of my hitch too, so I am trying to rule that out.
Other than that I had a great time out there and hope to see all again.

I was at Jones Rd yesterday too rode my quad over there. Van wasn't ready to go again. It needs nickle and dime stuff and I am out of nickles and dimes for this month. I was for looking for the Blazer. I only saw a yellow Jeep with the same name on it and didn't get a chance to ask. The next time you see him please ask. what happened to it. For all I know it may have gotten put back in my van and came up missing later, not sure. For me, thoes $120.00 straps don't come easy. Priceless when I need and don't have. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I can only hope, one day I'll get it back.
ya he was broke down when i got there, spit the rear blocks out and threw the rear diff sideways under the blazer.
That was him? I never went around to see the back of that Blazer. We were watching from the Northwest side. Again my fault for not paying attention and or not going around to look. They wanted to keep the quad traffic to a minimum so once I parked, didn't move. My buddy got there early and saw the whole thing, trying to pull someone out. I guess he never saw the back too. If he has my strap and used it, then it must be stronger than I thought. But no strap is worth a broken truck while trying do someone else a favor...... At least now I can get after my buddy who hooked it up to the van last Sat. and then saw the Blazer break yesterday. I guess I'll buy a new one and pay close attention to it this time.
I now figure if I had gotten stuck some place in the woods, it would have cost me double. Education doesn't come free, for me anyway.

i talked to him tis morning at school and he said the strap is sitting on the drivers seat in the blazer at jone's road and he told me that he tryed finging the guy that it belongs to but was kinda preocuppied on working on his blazer to get it done
There is a chance I may get it back? If so this would be great. I do feel sorry for him that he broke his truck doing someone a favor. I was at the Jone's rd. bog but didn't have my van there. I don't know what he looks like, only his blazer. He probably doesn't know what I look like too, only the van. Is his blazer still over at Jone's rd.? Or maybe some other type of arrangements can be made. I would like to meet him sometime. He deserves at least a hand shake from me. Let me know if you can come up with any more info. That van is nickle and dimming me a lot. The money for a new strap would be so much better spent on the van. Thanks for all this info. B.T.W. that Jeep of yours runs strong I have liked it ever since I first heard it, then saw it. I use to have a 77 CJ 5, with a small block in it, but had to sell it after I ended up in a wheelchair. Jones Rd. is just down the road from where I live, think he would mind if I went there and picked it up? I would rather he be there when I do, up to him I guess.

I went yesterday over to Jones Rd., just to see if my strap was there. I had no intentions of taking it, until some was there that knew what was going on with this whole thing. My strap and clevises, were not in the Blazer and the LADY of the house, had no idea of what is going on. She threatened to call the cops on me for trespassing. With her not knowing anything about this, I can see her point. Anyone know when the next time the owner of this Blazer, is going to be over at Jones Rd., to fix his truck. Before I got yelled at and escorted out off the property, I saw how bad his Blazer was. He certainly did a number on the whole rear of it. Anyway I would like to talk to someone before I go back over there.
