was out on my quade today watching some friends out wheeling when one got hot one thing led to another n the jeep went up n flames n nobody had a fire extinguisher outa the 8 trucks that were there n the jeep burnt too the ground ...........I keep one in my bogger who else dose just food for thought dont want too see this happen agin to anyone
I keep one in all my toys. But not my DD. Not sure why seeings how I spend more time in the Avalanche.
I need to put one in my Jeep, got one in the Blazer...
We keep one in all our vehicles...even if you don't have to use it on your rig you could come up on an accident where someone is trapped in a burning car.

nope but i ALWAYS have alot of water...seems how everytime i got muddin i break a radiator lol..but pops just bought a bunch of em so ill have on in it soon

wasnt a big done up bogger or trail rig but it was a nice jeep it was all basicly stock yeah weve met kens your uncle right ?

We had a extinguisher demo at work the other day and anyone who has ever shot one knows they dont last as long as ya think, we had to put out a 2'x2' gas fire for the demo and the fullsize tank was shot after 3 small fires, I have a small one in the rig but might spend the cash and get a fullsize one just in case

Going to buy 2 this weekend my truck caught on fire last weekend at Perkins and water barely put it out
If you can, get a dry chemical extinguisher. It's a good one for engine fires. Otherwise make sure your extinguisher is ABC rated. I keep 2 in my truck. A dry chem as well as an ABC. a=f
I have one in the console of my mud truck. if you run comp. boggs tech makes you have one. I have used them a play boggs on other people rigs.

I mounted mine right in between the 2 front seats. where the center console would be.
Where ever you mount them, make sure you have quick access to it. If a fire starts, you don't want to have to go to the back, open a hatch, move all the junk and then get to the extinguisher. Mine is right inside the drivers door on the floor next to my seat. The big extinguisher is behind my seat. Either way I have quick access. Hope it helps! a=f
