ok well my DD 98 ram sport has no nick name its just my every day vehicle. i bought it for $3500 in march of 2008. paid cash so its been paid off since the day i owned it. first real nice truck i bought that i spent that kind of money on. well its coming up on two years of owning it and i haven't done much to it like i planed. mostly due to job lay offs. but i am on unemployment, i don't have a single bill to my name ( which means no debt at all) so i'm going to put a lot of money into it over the next few weeks. im going to be doing a body lift this week and will up date the pictures as i do but heres the pictures of my truck and what i did do it since i bought it.
this is my truck the day after i bought it. all stock with 245/75/16 tires and the muffler was completly removed sounds pretty good.

then shortly after that i had to put my black tool box out of my 89 chevy in it. i literally had bought that tool box a month before for my 89 and then bought my ram and put it in that. and then i also had to put some better tires and put some 265/75/16 goodyear wrangler AT's on it.

and then i spent some time into lifting and working on my 89 chevy mud truck and stopped working on the dodge.
Before:

well then winter or 08/09 came and i was in need of some tires so i got some 32/11.5 r15 and some 15 inch wagon wheels for it. made the truck look pretty good.
(http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/tires-1.jpg) (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/tires-1.jpg)
(http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/tires2-1.jpg) (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/tires2-1.jpg)
well then i cam into an issue over the winter when using my wheel drive in a snowy field when getting fire work. i completely broke my axles shaft. i had already did wheel bearing and u joints in the driver side. but not on the passenger side and that is what broke. i have also since changed then the wheel bearing and u joint on the passenger side 2 more times. this time i used only napa parts like i did on the driver side and its been over a year and a half with no issues.
(http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/axleshaft.jpg) (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/axleshaft.jpg)
(http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/DSCF0006-2.jpg) (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q153/buddyayres/DSCF0006-2.jpg)
well then i finally got my my parts from a 8800 GVRW 3/4 ton dodge ram. i put the coil springs and rear blocks on the truck. the coil springs and and easy swap but the rear block needed some work. as you might know. a 1/2 ton dodge leaf spring is 2.5 inches wide. and the 3/4 and 1 tons and 3 inches wide. so we had to grind down the block so that it would fit inside of the u-bolts. this gave me 2.5 inches of lift in the front, and 1 3/4 in the rear. so now you actully have to steep up a little to get it in. and it also sits about perfectly level.

also during around the same time i upgraded the audio in the truck. sounds real nice. replaced all the door speakers and put two 12 inch subs with 2 760 watt amps. it really pounds.
but i will be adding the body lift this week and will have pictures posted as i work on it. also some future plans will be. a new front pumper painted the same blue. i am putting on some 36.5/14.5 ground hawgs on it. so it that ends up rubbing badly after the lift which will be about 5 inches, i will be adding 2 more inches of suspension. with a coil spacer up front and a add-a-leaf in the rear. along with procomp shock all the way around. and a dual steering stabilizer from skyjacker.

lets see the new pics ye ha
well did some work on the truck the last to nights. night before i didn't do much, worked on removing body bolts and bumper bolts and put one set of mounts under it. but it looks like i'm going to be cutting the mounts off. but i got all the new mounts for them. I'm really glad i don't need to buy gab guards because their are no gaps. and tonight i got the rest of the body bolts out and put the blocks under it. still got to put the ones under the core support. now i got to get the shifter and t-case linkage linkage extended as well as the steering shaft and drop the fan shroud down. the truck is sitting on the 265/75 tire and im hoping to get 36's to fit under it. and the picture with me in it is to give you an idea how tall it is with just the 265's and the lift. and i am 6'2" tall.
