Nice!!!!

the best thing you can do to these is Pull the chunk on the rear and weld the spiders...............but leave the front alone unless you get a locker............. ==2cents

got mine done up like that and love it!!!!!

Fords are the p00 i have these under a 78 bronco and they work just fine now all you need is to weld the spider gears but dont weld the whole gear just in between the gears cause other wise yoll screww it up good luck a see you when you get your mud pit done weheww

What happened to the coils?  Looks like there are leaf springs under all 4 corners now (with links)?

Title: Re: 2.5 ton Project
Post by: BOGIN4D9 on April 13, 2010, 11:45:15 PM
coils were too soft made provisions for them at a later date
Title: Re: 2.5 ton Project
Post by: four_by_ken on April 13, 2010, 11:51:05 PM
Are the links going to allow the leaf springs to move the way they should?
Maybe remove two of the links (either the top or the bottom) until you go with coil springs.

I think you are going to bind up.

Post by: forfun on April 14, 2010, 12:02:25 AM
The leafs where there last year and worked good. i put the leafs back under the rear for now so i can wheel it. Its gona take some time to build the coilovers. once we get them built the leafs are comming out

we have a super secret idea (besides it may bind but they still work with shackles on both ends ,you just don't get much life out of the leaf springs) I've been running them that way on my blazer with single sheer 3/4 heims for 14 plus years
