Title: 96 Jimmy sas project
Post by: motersports3211 on March 27, 2010, 07:07:32 PM
Well its time to start my first project.  quiett loll
This 96 jimmy was my first truck. i have decided to make it my toy and I want to do this the right way so it is safe. i need some advice on what to do with it what axles to run and what not im getting a 305 from a buddy and im rebuilding it.

STUFF I NEED:
-Front and rear axles
-Transmission
-Transfer case
-Leaf springs 4-6 inch lift (going to make the perches or buy them so length shouldn't matter to much. for a 80's chevy if possible)
-bucket seats
-radiator
-fuel cell
-carb
-intake manifold
-headers (preferably uprights)
-valve covers for a sb 305
-heads for a sb 305
-B&M floor shifter
-Rims and Tires

Im trying to figure out how to run the steering also. any input will be appreciated.

Heres a few Pics
