yes it was good one . now i hope red wing beat san jose.
I don't miss a game....not regular season or playoff's. Last night may have been the best, most dominating game all season. Pavel Datsyuk's breakaway style goal with the shoulder drop fake back hand to the forehand is awesome. I cannot wait for the wings to face San Jose and based on the wings record with them, history and now having played a far more energetic team in the phoenix coyotes, I think this will be a very different but much better series to watch!! GO WINGS!!
It was a hell of a game lastnight.
LET'S GO WINGS!! GAME 2 WITH THE SHARKS TONIGHT!!
LETS....GO...RED...WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone seen a worse officiated hockey game in the PLAYOFFS ever?? ==censor And it went both ways...some bad calls against San Jose, but no where even close to a fairly called game. 10 powerplays against one team and 1/2 of the calls would have been questionable even during the regular season.. What a bunch of Crap!! Wings need to start winning more faceoff's too. Wow, I was so pissed last night after that debocle. Can't believe that the wings were even winning at one point with all of the B.S. going on.

I agree with the other points too. The penalties were not the only reason the wings lost. Faceoff's in the last 2 games and previous series have been a problem. I still have to believe that 10 penalty kills wear on you in all reguards. Guys get over used in certain situations and wear down. Combined last 2 games, they've been on the penalty kill 16 times. This is the PLAYOFF'S....let the game be determined by PLAY and call those penalties that are intentional and cause injury or direct interference. That's my point and oh yeah, GO WINGS!!!
(http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/ab179/liftedjimmy4x4/RedWings.jpg?t=1273406709) well it was fun while it lasted
It was definitely fun til the end. Not the finish we wanted but I am excited for next season already! Curious to see the new line up. Hopefully, between now and then, the joke of an officiating crew the NHL has will learn how to FAIRLY call a real game. That head shot on Franzen last night with no call which lead directly to a SanJose goal, really proves what a joke they were in this series. Thanks for another great season wings! Hopefully Nic Lidstrom will be around for 1 final season too!
I can't be mad they were a five seed and the sharks were the one and they put up a damn good fight but well getem next year!!! GO WINGS!!!!!
i have always thought the sharks bought the games, by paying off the refs.
