i have a 1995 chevrolet 1500 4x4. i wanted to get a 3" body lift in it. but i had some questions about. has any body ever done it with this kind of truck and had any type of problems with steering or lenghts of hose?? and i done feel like spending an arm and leg on a lift kit so wats the cheapest?? thanks need ur help. GotMud?
about 15 hrs by your self on the ground. lube up all the bolts hoses are fine it will give you a rod for your linkage if you have a floor shift you may have to make the hole longer to get it to push forward all the way for low range. now the fan shrowd you can split it and put a 3"sleeve bolt and nut to keep it at the top and the air box is tweek from the fender well .
has any1 ever made one homemade?? compared to store bought lift would it be same price or cheaper? wat bout durability??
SPEND THE BIG BUCKS. BUY A GOOD KIT. COMES WITH EVERYTHING, INC. BUMPER BRACKETS.
HOME MADE COSTS ALOT JUST FOR THE LONG BOLTS........

x2 If you can't spend the money for a body lift, which is the cheapest lift out there that doesn't mess with the IFS front end, you should leave it alone.
These trucks like to punch the body lift pucks through the cab also, so even with a kit you will still be fabricating/modifying things.
ok thanks. but has anyone bought a lift for this make of truck and what would be the nicest but most affordable???
