I don't have a garage so I have been buying things to work on my jeep when it gets warmer..when we had a couple of warm days I tried out a color on the grill I think I am going to go with....It is called Intense Pearl Blue (seen on alot of Dodge trucks)

I have gotten some stuff for it thru the winter...I bought trim that goes over the rollers on the tops of the sliding doors, and new turn signal lens which I had to buy four because the turn signals stand up on the fenders and are two sided..and today i ordered a fuel tank filler neck grommet...I have dark tint for the windows too..and I have bought some pin striping for the sides..I also have been stocking up on intense blue pearl paint for when it gets warmer...soon as I get some extra bucks I am going to order all new door seals...

Dug threw 5 feet of snow plow snow pile but finally got jeep unburied yesterday and back on the drive...Took the old slider door seals off today and put brand new ones on..I think the old door seals had been on since 1974 and were in awful shape! ....sanded off the blue paint on the grill..thinking of going grabber green..the paint is much cheaper than intense pearl blue!

There is a vent on top..it opens and closes with a lever inside on the ceiling...something they all had..and what you see is like a vent shield..eventually I want to replace this with a sunroof that opens and closes...sometime when it gets covered in snow I put a box over the top so it doesn't get loaded with snow and then cause leakage as snow melts.. ;D thanks for asking

I painted more GREEN yesterday (not RED burl ;) ) did the strip behind the hood green....put new carpet in the back and on the postal tray(this tray is where the passenger seat should be) and took the old window film and decals out of the side back windows...used Goop hand cleaner to get the strong smelling glue off the windows! wish the weather would stay nice so I can paint more ;D

Not yellow, I was havin trouble rememberin - lime green, pink, and purple go together real well, but the purple is very strong and too much will clash with the lime green, but the pink is soft and will not clash - it will make the green pop, accent it with medium dark purple pinstripes using a tribal graphic type pattern ;D

Thankyou Trailman..I didn't like green at first (I am a bight blue person) but I love it now and love the attention it gets where ever I go...
I just put a new fanbelt on...no more squeel! who said you can't teach an old lady some new things is wrong! I did good! ;D
My mentors are my Dad and Jeepin John...I also rely on my shop manual...I also watched Blazin4door when I broke down last fall and he put the belt back on...Thanks to all.... ;D

jeep parts for you in for sale section, 57 with a hard top, its 4wd get it for the axles and tcase $400 for the whole thing and it runs or it did, loll

put the new front lenses on the turn signals today...will need help to do the backs....they don't make the backs anymore so you have to buy an extra set of fronts and make them work....here are pics of the old and new together...new fronts on Jeep ;D ....very orange and new looking! WOOT WOOT! ++peace

put these Jeep words on both sides yesterday..not sure if they will stay on...look good but just not made to stay on..they are hollow letters with sticky tape on back...not much for two sided tape to stick to...I will probably look for better quality Jeep words... :(

finished tinting windows ...put in new weather window seal in drivers side window....makes it so window is not rattleing and is now in there tight..was none before.... it is "the fuzzy stuff channel" that holds the sliding window ..only did one side for now.... $27 for one side

painted the corner today..and second picture shows what green I have left to do...also have to paint bumpers....have to put in new dome light and paint inside....still have more seals to buy for back door and one side window...and I have to get a torque converter cover cuz mine fell off somewhere! and I would like a new radiator...I still have to straighten out front grill properly(has to be shimmed up on one side) and a few other things...etc... ;D...some linkage has to be adjusted so it doesn't roll when its in park and the emergency brake needs to be fixed yet..

I am going to paint it white...the roller bar covers are white and the Lund visor I have is white...and then the detailing for on the sides I think will be white to.... ;D

Got the visor painted before the storms came... I also went to the store before the storms to buy some hardware to put it on ;D

got the visor on.....got a new valve cover gasket on.....got the tie rod off....got a green sunscreen on window...painted some black trim on fenders.....and just sent in my registration for a car show in Mecosta County on the 23rd... I want to show off the spray can Jeep ;D
have to paint the jeep words on back yet and paint a hood stripe before the 23rd ;D and of course put the tie rod on today after I pick it up at the parts store..it better be the right one! ;D ;D

Tie rod is on ...and tightened that loose steering at the gear box! WHEW! painted the mirror and trim around back lights ...started painting the trim around windows ...also new ball joint at the end of the drag link ;D

just put in new battery, alternator and repaired all 4 wires to alternator..two were broke in half and two were cracked almost all the way thru...ready to deliver the mail ;D

on my route one of the wires to the starter cable came off...a stranger at a country store where I got gas reattached it and I was back on my way..THANK YOU STRANGER WHOEVER YOU ARE!....Those washboard back roads really loosen stuff up on my jeep...keeps me on my toes!

ready for warm weather...parked the jeep and tarped it for the winter..want to put on new carbeurator in jeep this spring ;D carb floods out on washboard roads..Jeep was to small for the christmas mail load! To many big packages so I had to use my van

I got them off EBAY.. like all my other stuff.. of course nothing is made for a postal so you have to take many measurements first! The rack is a cut down from an S10 pick up.. lights are nothing fancy and universal for any vehicle.. had to take measurements of course to find the correct one..

if its any help... me and my dad scrapped out 2 of these last spring.... one is a 83 w/ a 4cyl and the other was a 75 with straight 6... the 6 needed a flywheel otherwise was road worthy.... the 84 snapped a cam... had a complete frontclip on it from texas

i believe he scrapped them at barnums auto salvage in millington mi....
