can u run solid motor and trans mount on a gm pick up bogger
personally, i would run a rubber trans mount
What are the benefits to running solid mounts? Just wondering
thinking more torq to the tires
more hp and torque transfer.. swampthing has solid mounts.. but my play toys have rubber
should only run solid mounts if your frame dont twist, via full cage or box frame or both.....if frame twists.....what the motor going to do ???? Motor plates front and rear protect the motor if it twists. Some say it puts more Hp and torque to the tires, i agree to some point....rubber mounts only let the motor and tranny move about an 1" or so...are you really going to notice it in the mud? If it was a drag car..then i say yes you would def notice it in your 60 ft time. IMO
