The motor in my 1996 5.7L vortec 3/4 ton suburban 4x4 blew up the other night and I have a could catch on vortec 454 out of a 2000 chevy 2500 OBS.
I know my 4L80E will bolt right up, But will my small block exhaust work(minus manifolds obviously)?
Also since the BB has the fuel rail injection, do I just need teh engine harness to plug into my main harness under the hood?
The motor comes with the harness and computer.
Another thing was will the motor mounts work also?
I have the 8600 GVRW package so the cooling is not a big deal.
