Im telling ya somethings really changing with our planet. the last 6months of really weird weather, hot dry climets getting more snow and floods then michigan and other states, birds and fish dying by the thousands for no reason,massive earth quakes and huge flooding all over the world. the biggest earthquake recored so far just hit Japan this morning and the Tunisia that was created hit Japan and is now heading for Hawaii and California. That a big ass wave.They say the world is seen ending in 2012 (just like every other perdiction ever made and failing lol) but what do you think. I dont see the world blowing up or it being the end as we know it but something is defiantly happing and changing right in front of us. ??? ??? whats your take on this. GotMud?

Oh and that earth quake in japan messed up a nuclear power plant and its cooling system failed.. kinda reminds me of a movie i saw named atomic twister. but the reason for failure was a tornado not earth quake..
I think every church now is starting to talk about how things in the Bible are lineing up and the end of the world is near. Scary stuff is happening out there.

I don't believe in that 2012 stuff, as far as how the weather has been lately the planet goes through cycles, at one point in history the Sahara desert was a fertile plain, climates change, and as far as the earth quake, we haven't been recording them for very long, I'm sure we've had as bad if not worse in the past, besides, Japan sits on a fault in the Ring of Fire, its going to have big ones from time to time...

you also have to take into consideration that the media has ALOT to do w/ all of this..
our information is Instant now days.. it used to take days to travel the world so we recieve alot more info than we used to..
information is also embellished (exaggerated) to boost ratings and sales, even the words and phrases they use to describe
situations adds the "fear" factor.. we have become a people so dependant on "what can they do for me" whether it be the government, local municiplaties,
assistance programs etc...that the "fear" factor is easily heightened, it used to be that we would prepare for issues.. ie.. have gas available, keep a pantry stocked,
emergency supplies etc.. now everyone waits to be "saved" from ___________ . I read an article in the paper Sunday from a guy that was furious about the fact that his sub division street was not plowed and the trecherous life threatening (his words) conditions he had to endure to get to the main road which was cleared but had patches of snow that prevented him from traveling at posted speeds.. HEY MORON!!! I just wanted to slap the stupid right out of him..
I read comments all the time about OOOOOOOO!! the big storm commin.. or how bad it is out there.. c'mon.. really.. we haven't had a true "snow storm" in quite a while.. if the 2012 prophesy really does happen.. the human population of the USA will be so ill prepared to deal with it that most won't survive, and those that do will kill everything else including themselves in the ensueing panic. just my .02

climate cycles are one thing that we can't change...but all this middle east "unrest" is disturbing to say the least. i don't go around believing in everything i hear about all this end of the world mess, but you do got to find it odd that so much of the "prophecies" are happening. and for the most part i wouldn't give a p00 but it affects my wallet :(

Plan for the worst, hope for the best. I keep my "war pack" stocked and ready to go. I need a new gas mask, the old one dry-rotted, and I need a chemical suit too. Personally, I feel there could be some problems at some point right here on our own turf. I will be ready, how bout you? ;D

I think its all a big bag of bull p00 theyre feeding us... The media is the problem. They've got nothing GOOD to say on the news, its always crime, murders robberies all that crap. Which is why i dont watch the news, its too damn depressing. Hearing about job cuts here and there, unemployment rates. You dont hear about people helping out others however they can that often! Hell i was down in ann arbor getting gas and this grungy guy was digging through the trash cans pulling out bottles and cans. Talked with him for a few minutes and gave him probably a dollar in bottles i had in the back of my truck. No big deal to me, but made a hell of a difference for him!
Personally i'm kinda hoping for 2012, not for the whole death part. but a change of lifestyle for everyone. I hope all electronics die, no more internet, no more cell phones. OH NO! whats the worst that would happen? Millions of people out of work because they wouldnt be able to push papers all day? loll

Yes you can blame the mass media for a lot of the stuff. The tend to over do it. CNN/ MSNBC/ FOX NEWS blow it all out of the water and they help spread the issue and make it sound much worse than it is. I took a media class back in High school and really opened my eyes at how the big new broad casters can influence the way we all think and how they help spread the fear and worry about stuff.
