X2 they got reamed hard!!!............plus that nuclear p00 is super scarey too, glad it was there and not in Michigan.
Fermi had a partial core meltdown in the 70s, but no radiation leak. :) I say we start improving our schools and post-high school education. We need kids to think it's cooler to get good grades then to be screwing, drinking, and smoking. The ENTIRE island of Japan moved 8 feet west. It also shifted the Earth's axis a bit. Some people try to tell me this is "2012" happening, but it is all Weather that has happened before and EVENTUALLY we will be able to predict and prevent.
ya can't ever predict an earthquake, theirs to many variables within the rocks and the crust and mantle, it's unfortunate that people were hurt in the earthquake and tsunamis, but they are unpredictable, and all we can do is try to be better prepaired for them, we've done a lot of damage to, and experimented with the planet in ways we won't fully understand for centuries, especially our govt.... ya can't set off nuclear weapons under ground and expect there to be no side affects later... hopefully they can get their powerplants back under controll, and avert any further injuries and/ or deaths,
Well my thought is this, history repeats itself. If you can look at th events happening before this Tsunami and the last one, and before that etc. etc. etc. I'd bet money there are some variables that are similar. Maybe we get an usuaully harsh winter before every major one. IDK.
Bad stuff. But experts say it could happen here too. Expecially in Cali.
sucks my prayers go out to your familys that are there
