everything you need to know. All i did was google it loll !!!!
i have done this back in 1991 for a friend , but its been so long ago. we did not not hook on to the shifting shafts like in pix shows. you will need to have the tcase out to do this.
Googles definatly a good resource but lots of times u dont get the exact answer your looking for and thats why i like looking to smaller communities like this.. thanks for the help guys!!
i have done this twice on my chevy 205's, pretty simple to do, but you need to have the tcase out on the bench, the first time, i did my research on google, followed a right up step for step and everything went smoothly, you can buy the modified shift rails or grind yours, i ground mine down the biggest thing is to not take off too much material, cause if you do when you shift it can actually lock in both high and low range, they recomend to grind the shift rails little by little put them back in and shift them by hand, you will be able to spin the input and both outputs to see what range your in!!! if you got basic hand tools and some kind of automotive skilz you should be ok!!
cool thanks for the help guys i thinkm i will do this next winter when the bronco sits for awhile
