Post by: B-Doe on March 29, 2011, 05:08:09 PM
im having a problem with my turn signals not working properly. either when i switch them on left or right they dont always want to work. sometimes it will work for about 5 seconds or even just do a single flash, but most of the time not even light up at all! Ive replaced the turn signal switch and checked the fuses. all good. does anybody know what else i can do to try to fix this problem? its a 2000 jeep cherokee

It was my thread...check the connection to the rear light assembly harness, It is located under the dash, my connector was corroded as well as some of the wires.

Can ya maybe try makin some new ground straps, good heavy ones, body to frame, frame to motor, all of it new stuf maybe..? At least that way youve eliminated any possibility of bad ground.. Ive had wierd stuff go on and fix it that way.. Just found a fat wire to the bulkhead on my 91 GMC nearly fried in 2, that was lucky - the guages never would read quite right, I thought..  ;D
