Post by: J.C. on March 30, 2011, 02:38:31 PM
anyone know about dodge trucks? i got a 94 2500 with a 360/auto, replaced the motor. got everything hooked up right. cant get the coil to spark... ran a hot wire from the battery to the coil, per the wiring diagram. brand new coil. might be bad? fuses and relays are all good...

Yup, I forgot about that one.. Its usually the culprit .. Also might check the dizzy bushings, if the shaft is wallowing around in there it wont work and they used to be bad about it, had a few dodges like that back in the day before I realized that I was probably better off to ride the bus than own one of those thangs yup, uh huh.. ;D loll

on all the dodges i had when the vechile would not start i would take the wires and tie them together and see if the vechile would start if it did i knew it was time to change the ballist resistor..

it ran like crap before we pulled the motor. there was a chunk missing from one of the pistons. im thinking its a crank sensor.
