Title: ford 5-135 bolt pattern wheels problem?
Post by: cnoswalt78 on April 09, 2011, 04:07:42 AM
Ok my wifes truck is a 2001 ford super crew, and the fx4 wheel on the rear has a chunk of the bead missing from the wheel, found it wile chainging the u joint out. but the tire shop said the bolt pattern wheel is becoming obsolet so ford dealer said the same, and the only wheels you can get are the 20'' to 24'' bling bling crap, and I dont want that. les schwab wants 2200 for some bling wheels and toyo street tires. and  so i got some dodge 5 on 5.5 wheels and there just about there but they dont make lug nuts without the washer and the problem is should i try to find adapters?
would you trust adapters?
and jegs and summit say they dont make adapters for that but would be nice to go to a normal pattern  wheel?
WHAT DO I DO?
WHAT DO I DO?

yea i mean adapter/spacer (converting from one bolt pattern to another)
and there isnt a place that even has used wheels. no one has wheels except new and i dont realy want to spend $ on wheels for it when im supposed to get wheels for my truck.
but my truck will have to wait i guess if we buy wheels. makes me mad it always happens this way. but she needs a good rig to go to work and such, so i guess
