Mine was a 1984 Ford Ranger. Biggest P.O.S. ever! I loved it! It was totally bone stock with the 2.8L V6 and an automatic rolling on three 30x9.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler OWL and one 215/75R15 Firestone Wilderness HT (the spare) That truck leaked and burned every fluid except for windshield washer fluid! The motor knocked SO bad it sounded like a diesel and took 2 quarts of oil a day to run it. It was turd brown with every body panel outlined in yellow pinstripe. It had a black "cow catcher" on the front and a black "roll bar" both with KC Dayliters.
I wheeled the piss outta that little truck! No joke! It went anywhere and just wouldn't die!
Maybe not what some would classify as a "Bogger" but it was my first "Wheelin' Rig" as for an actual "Bogger" I have yet to own one. (I know thats sad) I just can't afford it. Hopefully with the Lords help I'll have one before I leave this world and if not I hope Heaven has a Mud hole for Ol' Hillbilly's like me!
the ranger i have now is my first and olney.
Started out as a 95 reg cab long box 1/2 ton chevy W/T 4.3v6 5sp. Sold it with 6in suspension lift, 4bolt 350, 700r4, 35x15.50x15 tsl sx. Nice truck but didn't have the heart to put a straight axle under it, too much money to throw away.
