i just got this about a month or two havnt had time to put it on here but here it is. Its a 1980 stpeside with a 335 stroker backed up with a 400 trans and a 205
t-case. has chevy d60 front, 14bolt rear with 456 locked, it got 3, 44 cut ground hawgs and one that still needs to be cut. just got done puting cross over steering in it yesterday thank D60 king,
The want to do list
want to paint the rest of it yellow and maybe next year paint it a different color
put a 355 or a 454
cut the other 44
move the gas tank and radiator to the bed
grill and get the head lights workin
body lift or shve more of the fender
and some other stuff

ok im getting a 454 this weekend or next and might be getting a set of 2 1/2 gm but wont put hose under it till winter or i break it lol
that was my plan was getting a 454 for it but money and needing a daily driver caused me not too lol now im looking for some 8 inch springs for the blue truck
yeah 454 would not be good on gas lol but i found one ready to drop in for 600

im glad your having as much fun with the truck as i did i just put shocks on old blue and i put the brush guard and bolted down the roll bar. maybe sometime we will have too meet up and wheel again

yeah it work damn good in 3 wheel drive after we had to clean the starter 2 times but after that it did real good even when the gearbox was broke
yep now im goin to hydro steering
got my orbital valve today goin start looking where the best place to mount it might take the 454 up to m15 auto so that can get started on
still need the hoses and clyinder tho but ill get to that

nice how that 335 do in the mud you put it in and what did you do to it to pop the gearbox out
didnt have to worry about blowing it up it didnt even hit 3500rpm on the tech and i hit a big ass hole
frame was already cracked behind box that didnt help it out to much. regular steering sucked for 44s thats why were stepping up to hydro
you will like the hydro, its nice to not have any feed back through the wheel
yeah thats wat everyone keeps telling me cant wait to get it all in
i knew that motor would do good always did good for me only thing i couldnt get through was the mud that flooded the interior noone believed me about that 335 it runs great
i wheeled with that truck last year didn't do to bad seemed to hold together good luck hope to see it in action again ++peace

yep almost got the sbc out and just got to put gaskets in the 454 and it will be done hopefully by this weekend

no mods other then edlebrock performer 2 intake and a holley 650 dp and up right rest is stock
and the old motor ant running to good only holding 5 punds of press.. lol

putting it back together now but instead putin a 350 in it istead of the bb goin to take it up and to m-15 auto and get it built also tore out all the wires out and rewiring it and i painted the one said all yellow still got the other said to do and the hood will get some more pics when the paints done
oh and im getting the springs arch soo i can have 10 to 12 inches lift
