Title: Rockwell question
Post by: Bowtie972 on April 30, 2011, 02:23:02 PM
Im looking to install 2.5 T rocks under my truck.  Ive read that there can be clearance issues with the top chunk/front driveshaft and the oil pan on engine.  I have a blazer frame with a 468 BBC and a deep oil pan.  I only have 8" susp lift right now and am planning on keeping leaf springs for now. Trying to keep cost of install down.   How much lift would I need to clear the oil pan?   Do I need more lift? Any ideas? I know WTF sells lift block spring perches, which might be an option.

Wildtime told me to have at least 10" between pan and top loader.....i moved my engine up 6" and back 3".....with 4" springs. I dont plan on running them like that, just going to use bolt them to it for the 4 link setup....then big shocks ;D
