noooo....... i wouldnt.
only 10k? I've broken tow hooks that were rated at that or close to it. I might use it as a winch point but not as a jerk point and then only if the vehicle was lighter like a CJ5 or close to it.
no
nope, i have die/rigging swivels that are rated more than that.
nope
nope
a=f i'll try it on your rig ==roll a=f
if you think about it how big is the pin that holds in your receiver and it not even hardened. i think it would be fine as a winch point just not as a jerking point.
for 60 $ plus shipping just use your reg reciever with out a ball and put a clevis back in its place
i just use my hitch pin why all the extra weight
Well me personally I'll never run anything big enough to need that so my tow hook will work just fine.
ummmm..........................HELL NO!!
if it was bigger
i would why not
I dont get stuck.....
jkk no, strap has worked fine so far. Dont see a need to change my approach to getting unstuckified.
I could see that being a nice projectile thru the windshield right into the face?!?!?!
but the hitch pins are stronger than you would think for not being hardened and what not..... I wanted to test one out one day so I hooked up a 20k chain to it and and big ass tree, a few beers later and with I was up over the steering wheel and the the chain snapped... the hitch pin didnt bend at all hmmmm idk
Only as a last ditch effort would i use it! Looks kinda cheesey built.... I ill stay with my big ol D ring and a homemade strong as all get out hitch ;D gotta love homemade goodies
if ya use all 3 d rings on that truck sure. otherwise no
No way. The pin is real thin where the hole is for the ring to go through - probably wouldnt take much to bust it and make it into a missle!
